Mrs Laurence MUKANDINDA is holding a Bachelor’s
Degree in Business Administration (Human Resources Management
option) with Upper division hons. KIST
She recently got a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM from
Maastricht School of Management (MSM) Outreach program
with Distinction.
Mrs Laurence MUKANDINDA has attended training in various
areas respectively in Public Procurement Procedures
(March 2007), Training on |

Equality and Diversity (2005), Training of trainers on
entrepreneurial skills, cooperatives, income generating
projects, organized by RDRC(Rwanda Demobilization and
Reintegration Commission, July 2005 ), Gender Research
and Social Research (April 2005), Fundraising process
(in KIST, by Professor Campbell from School of Business,
California).
Mrs Laurence MUKANDINDA has published: ‘La contribution
de la Femme Rwandaise au développement socio-économique
du Rwanda, 2004 » for award of her Bachelor’s
degree and « The role of motivation as a tool in improving
Staff retention”. Case study of KIST, 2008 for
award of Postgraduate Diploma.
Mrs Laurence MUKANDINDA was also a Member of the Council
of the District of Nyamirambo (August 2004- December
2005)
Today she an elected Member of the Council of the City
of Kigali
From 2007 to 2009 Mrs Laurence MUKANDINDA was the KIST
Director of Administration and Human Resourses Management
Unit.
Mrs Laurence MUKANDINDA joined KIST in 1998.She is
currently Director
of Continuous Training Unit from September 2009.
