KIST Journal of Science and Technology

About the Journal

KJST is an independent annual publication of the Kigali institute of Science and Technology. The journal is stated to act as a platform for scientific inquiry and exchange of ideas, as well as a teaching tool through the publication of well-researched peer-reviewed articles of the highest quality, covering the broad areas of science and technology, architecture , environmental design.
KJST aims in strengthening research and practice in science, technology and architecture, especially in developing countries.

Contributions will be published in the following disciplines:

- Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology;
- Food Science and Technologies;
- Civil, Electrical, Electronic & Mechanical Engineering;
- Transfer of Technology ;
- Geographic Information System (GIS) ;
- Environmental Technology;
- Computer Science/ICT;
- Architecture;
- Creative Design, Construction and Estate Management.

In general, only original papers will be considered. Submission of a manuscript to KJST is representation by the author that the manuscript has not been published or submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. However, papers previously presented in conference proceedings of limited circulation may be submitted in revised form. If a paper has appeared previously, in any form, authors must clearly indicate this in both their cover letter and in a footnote on the first page of the paper.

KJST will publish articles written in standard British English.
The papers are published free of charge.
