Gatoni Aimé holds an LLM in Business, Corporate and Maritime Law (BCML) from the Erasmus University Rotterdam School of Law in the Netherlands, an LLB in law from the National University of Rwanda faculty of Law and a Diploma in National and International Procurement from the International Law Institute (ILI).

In addition to that he is a lawyer registered in Kigali Bar Association. He joined KIST as a specialist in public procurement and at the same time as a part time lecturer. Previously, Mr Gatoni worked for the Rwanda Public Authority as a Professional in charge of Legal Affairs and Research and as the Supporting Staff of the National Independent Review Committee on Public Procurement. He has been for more than twelve years a Legal advisor for the Youth Association for Promotion of Human Right and development and also a Trainer on Human Right. Currently he is developing his PhD research which will be displayed soon.
