SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

The Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design was established in 2009, following a phased implementation plan. According to the plan, the department of Architecture was established in January 2009. This will be followed by three departments in 2010. These departments are Creative Design, Quantity Surveying and Estates Management and Valuation.

The establishment of the new faculty is partly financed by the African Development Bank (ADB). The ADB support includes a component for staff development. Under this component, Rwandans with a good undergraduate degree in any of the disciplines in the faculty shall be considered for the award of a scholarship to pursue Masters and/or PhD studies. The successful candidates shall initially be employed as Tutorial Assistants and shall be sponsored for postgraduate studies under the terms and conditions of the Institute.

Prospective candidates with an Upper Second Class Degree are hereby invited to express their interest for pursuing postgraduate studies under the FAED. Please submit your application and attach the following documents:
