KIST signed a cooperation agreement with Italian University of Venice

KIST in partnership with Fondazione Claudio Buziol Venezia-Italy organized a two week Workshop, the official closure and display of student’s creativity and designs took place on Friday,18th September, 2009. at “Centre d’accueil et de formation San Marco Soroptimist”, Mulindi-Kanombe.

KIST Students from the Faculty of Architecture and those from the Department of Chemistry together with a team of University students from Italy benefitted from this training workshop in regard to research, innovation, creativity and design.

The official closure of this workshop was presided over by the Hon. Minister of Education Dr. Charles MURIGANDE, KIST Rector, Prof. Abraham Atta Ogwu, also in attendance were Prof. John Mshana,(Vice-Rector ,Academics) Mr. Gatabazi Thomas (Vice-Rector, Administration and Finance) and Academicians from KIST and Italy.

KIST is to work in Partnership with the University of Venice - Italy to make an impact on improving livelihoods of communities in finding affordable shelter.
