RWANDA –TANZANIA Friendship Association held a Public Lecture at KIST

On 14th October 2009 Members of the Rwanda-Tanzania Friendship Association (RWATAFA) gave a Public Lecture at KIST , the Lecture was in preparation of the 10th commemoration day of the Late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage NYERERE, the former President of the United Republic of Tanzania for his contribution to the Liberation of Rwanda and other African countries that were facing Political Mayhem and suffering.

The Lecture also reflected on the current excellent bilateral relations between the two sister countries.


The Panel of distinguished presenters in this Lecture included Hon.Senator Seth Kamanzi, Amb.Zeno Mutimura, Mr RUZIBUKA John and RWATAFA Chairperson Isidore Gahamanyi.

Those in attendance included the Vice Rectors of KIST Prof. John Mshana(Academics) who moderated the Lecture , Mr. GATABAZI Emmanuel (Administration and Finance) and the Dean Faculty of Science , Dr. KARANGWA Desire.
