Hon. Members of the Rwandan Parliament visited KIST

On Monday 19th October 2009, a six Member Commission on Higher Education from the Rwandan Parliament, led by Hon.BAZATOHA S.Adolphe and other members of the Parliamentary Commission including Hon. Emmanuel MUDIDI, Hon.MUKAZIBERA Agnès, Hon. MUKAYIJORE Suzanne, Hon.NIBISHAKA Aimable and Hon.AYINKAMIYE Spéciose made a visit to KIST.

During the busy one day visit Hon. Members of Parliament held a meeting with KIST senior Management, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments.

They later on in the afternoon embarked on a guided tour led by the Rector Prof. Abraham Atta Ogwu and the two Vice Rectors Prof. John Mshana and Mr. GATABAZI Emmanuel, they visited KIST IV Laboratories, Civil Engineering Labs, Cottage Industry Training Workshop, RITC and the ICT Training Centre .

The MP’s were highly impressed by the outstanding Infrastructure and Equipment at KIST IV Laboratories comparing them to being among the best on the African Continent and best in the region.
