Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-USA) Professors paid a visit to KIST, on 3rd November 2009

Under Potential Partnership Programme discussions , Professors from the renowned and prestigious MIT led by Prof . Philip S Khoury, Associate Provost and Professor Maria Zuber, Head of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAS) as well as Professor Ron Prinn (EAS) visited Rwanda and toured KIST facilities. The visitors were led to a guided tour of the KIST IV Science Laboratories complex by the Rector, Prof. Abraham Atta Ogwu, accompanied by the Vice-Rector in charge of Academics Professor John Mshana and the Vice-rector in charge of Administion and Finance Mr GATABAZI Thomas.

They also visited the well furnished-self contained rooms guest house that accommodates visiting International scholars, professors and visitors who visit KIST.
